At SCC, we call our volunteers LIFE CHANGERS! Why? We believe everyone has LIFE CHANGING potential within them. When you choose to serve on one of our teams, you become an integral part of every life impacted at Shore Christian Church.
Our church couldn't operate without the participation of our congregation and we highly encourage all regular attendees to choose an area to serve. Our ministry leaders are flexible - where you serve and how frequently is up to you!
Every person makes a difference. Training for all ministries is provided! If you have a heart for a team, we will teach you what you need to know to feel confident.

Welcome guests to our Sunday Worship Experiences! Simply be there with a warm, smile ready to answer any questions people may have.
First Impressions Team (FIT):
The success of each service starts with the faithfulness of this team! Each Sunday they are responsible for setting up chairs, and unloading and loading equipment used during our worship experience. This ministry requires you to be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
Setup and Breakdown Teams:
This team assists with the livestream of Sunday services during the first service, as well as assisting with preparing audio/visual equipment on the stage. If you are interested in media/production, this is the team for you!
AV Team:
This team assists in presenting the slides that are viewed by the congregation each week, including song lyrics, announcements, and sermon slides. This is a very simple but important place to serve! Team members do not need to be tech-savvy but should be comfortable with basic computer functions.
Slides Team:
Each Sunday our safety team makes sure everyone has the best experience possible. They assist with the flow of each service as well as attend to the needs of the Pastors (Background Check Required).
Safety Team:
Help us teach the next generation to walk in the footsteps of Jesus! Assist in teaching provided curriculum to SCC kids during Sunday services. Opportunities are available for toddlers (ages 2-5) and grade school (ages 6-10). A background check is required.
Children's Church:
Love to sing or play an instrument? Consider joining our Worship Team! Auditions and participation in rehearsals are required. All worship team members must complete the Next Steps class.
Crosscurrent Worship Team
If you have a heart for hospitality, this is a perfect place to serve! Our hospitality team helps with the preparation and execution of church events, such as community meals.
