About Classes
Shore Christian Church offers annual classes to allow for a deeper dive into specific areas of God's word! These classes offer real-world skills, build strength and character, and are an opportunity for us to build each other up for the Kingdom of God. See below for more information about our regular classes:
Classes
(Offered multiple times a year). New to SCC and considering making this your home church? Next Steps is for you! Learn about Shore Christian Church's vision, history, operations, and the important role that you play at SCC. This is a three-week class that takes place immediately following the second service.
Next Steps Class:
(Offered periodically) Join us in this course to unlock, unveil, uncover, and unleash the spiritual gifts placed in each of us by our Heavenly Father so that we can fulfill the individual purpose given to us by Him. Led by Nicole Tillman-Johnson, Sherry Alicastro, & Al Meyer. This class takes place after the second service for 6-8 weeks.
Spiritual Gifts Class
Faith & Healing Class
(Offered annually in the first quarter) Open to all who want to learn more about God’s love, Word and covenant promises for believers. A place where you will learn from the Bible what faith is and how to walk in faith no matter the circumstance. You will learn it is God’s will to heal, and how to receive your healing. The class is led by Rick & Sandi Hankins and meets Mondays at 7 pm for 8-10 weeks.
(Offered periodically) Working together through the book “The Hospitable Leader” by Pastor Terry Smith, this class talks about practicing leadership with a hospitality mindset. If you want to learn more about leadership skills, elevating people’s gifts, and how to work together to achieve worthy, common goals, this class is for you.
