As Shore Christian Church continues to grow, this space will allow us to expand our ministries, host community events, create opportunities for connection, and provide a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Don’t Be A Fixer

When People Get Complicated | Week 3

In Week 3 of When People Get Complicated, Pastor Isaac shares a life-changing truth about our relationships: we were never called to be fixers—we were called to be fishers.

Through the story of Hannah and Elkanah in 1 Samuel 1, we learn the importance of understanding what is our responsibility and what is God’s responsibility. We can love people, pray for them, cry with them, and point them to Jesus—but there are some problems only God can fix.

And when it comes to the broken, empty, or unfulfilled places in our own lives, no person, relationship, success, or affirmation can complete us. People can add to what God has already done, but they can never complete us. Only God can fill what no one else can.
