What to expect on a Sunday Morning

From parking, to finding your seat, we’re here to help you every step of the way to ensure you have the best worship experience!

  LOCATION

Our Sunday morning 9:30am & 11:00am worship experiences are located in the House of Independents at 572 Cookman Avenue in Asbury Park, NJ. We are next to Talula's and across the street from the Asbury Ale House. We are 2 blocks away from the Asbury Park train station.

 PARKING

You can choose to park on the street and use the street meters, you can find a space behind the building (in front of the Asbury Biergarten) or you can find 2 designated parking areas in walking distance

WALKING IN

As you enter the House of Independents, you will be greeted by our welcoming volunteers, who desire for you to have the best start to your worship experience with us

 CAFE

Make sure you arrive 10-15 min early so you can enjoy the free hot coffee and a variety of pastries we have to offer every Sunday morning. The cafe is located to the right as you enter the door, where you can also find the welcome center.

KIDS JAM

We offer a children's church for kids ages 4-8 that takes place during the service. The check-in table is located on the level directly below the cafe. When you're at the cafe, you go down the stairs by the welcome table, if you have any questions of where to go, there are plenty of volunteers in the cafe who would be happy to direct you!

WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

We begin each worship experience with 20-25 minutes of live music. Our music is very contemporary, but will occasionally bring back older hymns, in a new way. Our worship can be loud at times, producing a concert like volume. For those with sensitive ears we offer free ear plugs at our welcome table.

 FOLLOWING SERVICE

Following the message, you are invited to come up for prayer and communion every Sunday. If you have any questions about the message or about making Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, please see one of the leaders by the stage, they would be happy to assist you!
