Hebrews 1:1-2
1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.
Jesus speaks to us today, much better word. Jesus is the WORD of God.
In the beginning was the word……. And the word spoke and said, “Let there be light” and from that moment on there was light.
The word spoke dividing the the heavens and the Earth and the dry land from the seas.
The word spoke and grass began to grow, trees began to form and produce fruit.
The word spoke and stars were formed, and still to this day light up the night sky.
When the word speaks it echo’s through the ages and can not be silenced or softened.

Part 3 Huddle Up
September 16, 2018
Following Jesus is a team sport. When we look at the early church we see how crucial it was for them to meet together regularly in small groups. Scripture says the Lord added to their numbers daily those who were being saved! A team or community is also supportive in difficult times, similar to a left tackle’s job of protecting the quarter back. And “you can’t go until you are set”, so it’s time to get set into a life group and lean on others so you can grow and be a support for them too. It’s a team effort!
Part 2 Let’s Roll
September 8, 2018
On September 11th, the passengers of flight 93 were given an opportunity to take action when they learned what was taking place in NYC. With one of the passengers, Todd Beamers last words, “Let’s roll”, they brought down the plane, sacrificing their lives to save many. Taking the lessons learned from the heroes on that tragic day, we are reminded to have 1. The inability to do nothing 2. The inability to stay the same 3. The inability to stop.
