Our Mission
Developing great faith and love in people, to build
a great church, to fulfill the great commission.

Founded in 1977 by Senior Pastor Dewey Friedel and his wife, Pastor Ronda, Shore Christian Center Church is located in Wall Township, New Jersey, on the borders of Howell and Brick. (Click for directions). The church serves a congregation of roughly 1,400 with an extended reach to many thousands through regular television broadcasts over local cable stations.

Shore Christian Center is also home to Shore Christian Academy, a dynamic Christian elementary school offering pre-school through eighth grade academic and sports programs of excellence.

In addition, there are approximately 20 different ministry teams functioning within the church, including a food pantry for the needy, youth and children's programs, men's and women's programs, sports camps, house fellowship groups, international missions support, outreaches to the surrounding communities and a dynamic New Songs Choir, including dramatic arts and presentations.

The adjoining Family Life Center is a family and educational complex that houses a daycare center, a family activity center, with a state-of-the-art gymnasium and stage, a regulation-sized baseball athletic field.

The TV ministry, Imagine That, includes preaching and teaching as well as interviews with some of today and yesterday's sports heroes who have witnessed the power of Jesus Christ in their lives.

Future plans include a counseling and healing center, a state-of-the-art Christian high school, job placement and aid for unwed mothers, television and radio broadcast centers, an international missions training center, and a new sanctuary equipped for dramatic/musical arts productions.
